We are dedicated to creating a pleasant experience for those camping at the festival. The campsite is situated in a beautiful setting in the meadows beside the River Thames and will be stewarded 24 hours a day, with showers and toilets throughout.
Unfortunately, for safety reasons, barbeques, naked flames etc. are not allowed in the campsite.
You are welcome to bring camping stoves, but please follow the manufacturer’s instructions and do not use inside tents.
The campsite opens at 2.00pm on Friday (Aug 17th) and closes at midday on Monday (Aug 19th). If arriving on the Friday evening, last entry will be at 10pm.
Justine and Simon set up Yurts and Squrts in 2007. After making and selling yurts for several years, they decided that creating pretty, fun, cosy and green festival accommodation was to be their next step...
Yurts are nomadic structures originating from central Asia, where they have been used for thousands of years.
Squrts are fun and quirky miniature yurts, designed and hand-made by Justine and Simon in their workshop in rural Northumberland, They are colourful, cosy and unique, created exclusively to provide an unforgettable, luxury camping experience.
Cloudhouses are a twist on an old Persian design not dissimilar to a yurt called an Alachigh. Cloudhouses are a little more spacious than a yurt and are much better for anyone who likes a higher and wider doorway.
All basic yurts, squrts and cloudhouses are supplied with a fully fitted watertight groundsheet. Furnished yurts, squrts and cloudhouses come with the fitted groundsheet which they cover with cosy rugs, fluffy sheepskins, a scattering of cushions, a small handmade table and a tea light lantern (with a good supply of tea lights).
We have a number of beautiful Sioux style tipis ranging in size from compact 10ft diameter – perfect for two – up to large 18ft tipis suitable for up to 7. The tipis can be hired unfurnished, with a groundsheet and coconut matting, or with a furnishing package including colourful rugs, cushions, faux sheepskins, a low table and tea-light lantern or led light. Bedding packages consisting of airbed, sheet, duvet and pillows are also available as an extra as either single or double. These must be booked at the same time as booking your tipi. Tipis have been used by Native Americans on the Great Plains for hundreds of years. Their structure is both practical and graceful, keeping cool in the sun, warm during cool nights and able to withstand wind and rain. Rain-catchers are fitted to all our tipis, so with the smoke flaps wrapped around they keep quite dry, but during very heavy rain a certain amount of water ingress is to be expected.

If you want to bring "live-in" vehicles to the festival, we have a dedicated field in the campsite. You will need to purchase either a Standard Campervan permit (for vehicles up to 6m in length) at £75, or a Whopping Campervan permit (for vehicles over 6m in length) at £150. In addition to this, each person staying in the campervan must have a weekend camping ticket.
Note: We do not have hook-ups for electricity/water, and we cannot allow caravans, sorry.
If camping with children, we have a dedicated family field in a quieter area of the campsite.
Take the hassle out of lugging your kit across the campsite, and hire a four-wheel trolley from Cart-to-Camp. Look out for them close to the festival entrance.
Based in the campsite, this area offers you a big range of breakfast fare, picnic area and coffee and tea tent.
