Q. When is the festival?
A.

The festival will take place on the weekend of August 3rd-5th 2018.

Q. Where is the festival?
A.

The festival takes place at Capesthorne Hall, Siddington, Cheshire, SK11 9JY.

Q. How do I get there?
A.

 

By Road:

From Manchester, Chester or Stoke on Trent, follow signs to the A34.  Capesthorne Hall is situated five miles west of Macclesfield on the A34.  There will be festival road directions as you approach the festival site.

By Rail:

The nearest main train station is Macclesfield, which is situated approximately 5 miles from the festival site. You will have to find your own way from the station to the site, we'd advise looking into local taxi companies. 

By Air:

The nearest International and Domestic Airport is Manchester (10 miles).

 

Q. Is there car parking?
A.

We have lots of on-site parking which is free. Follow the car park signs on arrival.
Note: You cannot park by your tent. Car parks are an approximate 5 minute walk from the campsite and you cannot stay in vehicles in the car park overnight.

Q. Is there a place where I can get dropped off and picked up?
A.

Yes there is a designated drop off/ collection point near the festival entrance. Parking is not permitted here.

We advise that you pre-book any taxis if you wish to be picked up after the festival.

Q. What time does the festival open?
A.

The campsite opens at 2.00pm on the Friday, campsite car parks will open at 12.00pm. If arriving on Friday to access the campsite you must do so by 10.00pm

For weekend ticket holders The Silent Disco, Kids Zone, Funfair, Theme Bars, Restaurants, Food Outlets and Trade Village will all be open from 6.00pm on the Friday.

On Saturday and Sunday, car parks for day ticket holders open at 11.00 am. The festival site opens at midday and the entertainment on the main stage starts at 2.00pm.

Q. What time does the festival close?
A.

The campsite closes at midday on the Monday.

On Friday the arena will close at approximately midnight.

On Saturday and Sunday, the entertainment on the Main Stage will finish at approximately 10.30pm. The entertainment area will remain open on both days until approximately 1.00am.

Q. Can I camp for one night?
A.

You can camp for one night, two nights or three nights as long as long as you have a camping weekend ticket. The cost for camping is the same however long you stay.

Q. Where can I find information on Hotels, B&Bs etc?
A.

If you are looking for an alternative to camping over the weekend, Visit Cheshire's website offers a comprehensive rated list of Hotels, B&Bs and Self-Catering Apartments in the area complete with availability (www.visitcheshire.com).

Q. Can I park by my tent?
A.

For safety reasons you cannot park by your tent. Campsite parking is an approximate five to ten minute walk from the campsite.

Q. Is there a limit on the size of tent I can bring?
A.

There is no limit to the size of your tent within reason, however we do ask you to please consider other campers and only bring the size of tent you require.

Q. Can we bring our caravan/trailer tent?
A.

No, unfortunately neither caravans nor trailer tents are permitted on site; however there are a number of touring caravan parks nearby.

Q. Are there any facilities for the disabled?
A.

The accessible facilities onsite are for festival goers with permanent disabilities or impairments as stated in the Equality Act 2010. Broken legs, recent injuries or pregnancy do not qualify for these facilities.

Site Layout and Ground Conditions

Rewind North is located in the beautiful setting of Capesthorne Hall.

It is accessible to visitors with mobility impairments as the site is mainly level access with a few inclines and short cut grass. There are some stone paths and metal trackways are used. Please take the weather into consideration when planning what to bring as it can have an impact on mobility due to muddy patches etc.

Disabled Parking

There is disabled car parking available to blue badge holders, located in both the day and camping car parks and close to the respective entrances. This is free of charge and does not need to be pre-booked.

Medical Facilities

Rewind’s on site medical tent is well staffed with experienced crews 24hrs each day.

Toilets

Accessible toilets will be located at the viewing platform and at locations throughout the festival site.

Disabled Campsite Area

The disabled area in the campsite will have accessible toilets.
Please note: you cannot drive or park vehicles in the disabled campsite area. We are unable to offer electrical hook-up to tents or campervans.

Viewing Platform

There is a disabled viewing platform located in the Main Arena. It is available for use people where necessary and the access ramps will meet Building Regulations Part M:2004 gradient requirements.

Spaces on this platform are limited so if you want to secure a place please apply sooner rather than later via our application form which will be released in the new year- please check back for further details. 

If you require seating on the platform please bring your own seat with you.

PA 2 for 1 Ticket Scheme

In our continuing effort to make Rewind Festival accessible to everyone, we may provide those disabled ticket holders who are in receipt of the higher rate of DLA (or can otherwise supply supporting evidence of their necessity for personal assistance e.g. doctor’s note) with 1 free ticket for a PA.  Please note: this scheme only applies to general admission tickets, not the VIP pass.

Q. Are dogs allowed on site?
A.

With the exception of guide dogs, no animals are allowed on site.

Q. Can I bring my own food and drink?
A.

If you are camping you can bring your own food and drink into the campsite only. No food or drink can be taken into the main festival site, but don’t worry we have lots of great food units and fun bars.

Note: No glass is allowed anywhere on site. Please decant into plastic containers.

Q. Can I bring my own alcohol?
A.

You can bring alcohol for personal consumption into the campsite, not into the main festival site.

Q. Can I bring chairs, blankets and gazebos into the main festival site?
A.

Fold up chairs and blankets are permitted, however if you intend to bring them into the arena we request that they are not used in the area between the stage and the mix tower.  

Note: Gazebos and large parasol type umbrellas are not as they restrict other festival goers' views.

Q. Can I bring my camera?
A.

You may bring a “domestic” camera however anything deemed professional (i.e. with detachable lenses etc.) is prohibited.

A.

Q. Is there anything I shouldn't bring to the festival?
A.

Personal food and drink is permitted in the campsite, but not in the festival arena.

Please do not bring any glass or sharp objects into the festival site and campsite.

Small gas camping stoves are permitted in the campsite only, but please note BBQs, disposable BBQs and open fires are not.

The sale or use of legal highs is banned at the festival.

Please do not bring large trailers with you, they will not be allowed into the campsite. Small trolleys are fine. If it is designed to be towed by a vehicle, oxon, horse or yak then it’s too big!! 

Don't put temptation in front of the bad people - keep valuables close and to a minimum.
