British Electric Foundation were formed in 1980, the brain child of Martyn Ware (The Human League and Heaven 17) the group showcases a variety of different musical artists performing classic songs with an electronic slant.

Martyn Ware has produced and performed Human league, Heaven 17 and British Electric Foundation over a career spanning over 35 years. He has now assembled a stellar line-up featuring the full Heaven 17 band performing songs made famous by the stars themselves and cover versions in the inimitable BEF electronic pop style - featuring Glen Matlock, Claudia Brücken, Heaven 17’s Glenn Gregory, Jaki Graham, Kim Appleby, Joy Divisions Peter Hook, Jilted John, Rozalla, Owen Paul and The Farm’s Peter Hooton.
Owen Paul, the Scottish singer, producer and co-writer of the 1986 UK and European smash summer hit ‘My Favourite Waste Of Time’ has done many things in the years since he first came to musical prominence.
He ran a theatre in the West End, toured the UK and Europe with Phil Collins as one of 'Mike and the Mechanics' and was their vocal arranger on the album 'Rewired.'
After a lengthy hiatus from solo live performance, he returned to the stage in 2012 once more under the name Owen Paul. He currently tours with XSM: Ex Simple Mind, his Live 80s show and Owen Paul - Acoustic 80s as well as on his own as a solo artist. In January 2014 Owen released ‘The One’ his first official single in the UK since 1987, and in November last year two brand new versions of his unforgettable 80’s classic My Favourite Waste of Time (Part One and Part Two) were released along with a multitude of dance remixes to celebrate its 30th Anniversary, 1986 - 2016.
